We have been enjoying the Lower Red Lion for over twenty years. It is a lovely, traditional pub, with open fires, an excellent selection of real ales, superb food, and no loud music or fruit machines. Well behaved dogs are always welcome. The pork belly and venison dishes are awesome! David, the landlord, is simply the best! Make sure you visit the Lower Red Lion on Fishpool Street next time you visit St Albans. You’ll be glad you did.
